On December 15, 2011 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany and to the Holy See with concurrent, Tolendy Makeyev has presented his Credentials to the Roman Catholic Church Head, Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican.

From November 8 till November 16, 2011 representatives of the National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic have been visited Germany to learn more about the German Art. Short-term training in Germany for two of the best students of this university - Tamila Mamatova and Cholpon Urmakeeva, as well as for their teacher, artist and ceramist, the Doctor of Fine Arts Nurlanbek Zhoroev was organized at the invitation of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany in order to implement the initiative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Roza Otunbayeva to support perspective young artists and musicians by providing short-term study tours to Europe and Asia.
